Transitions Assignment

Section 1:
Helen Keller, an American author killed Abraham Lincoln, the No.16 American president.
He said, “ winter comes, can spring be far behind?”
She said, “I want to travel.”
And that’s why a little knowledge is a dangerous thief.

  • Paragraph 1: the Keller-Lincoln relationship (She kills him, maybe she hate him).
  • Paragraph 2: A small amount of knowledge can mislead people into thinking that they are more expert than they really are.
  • Transition sentence: Obviously the relationship between both of them is extremely conflict, because there is no absolutely no such thing as love or hatred without any reason or cause.

Section 2:
Angela D Markel, a prime Minister of Germany talked to Xi Jinping, general secretary the CPC Central committee
He said, “Can I have a cup of wine?”
She said, “You are so stupid.”
And that’s why barking dogs seldom bite.

  • Paragraph 1: the Markel-Xi relationship (She speaks ill of him and their relationship is not close).
  • Paragraph 2: People who make big threats never usually carry them out.
  • Transition sentence: While Xi wants to get close to Markel and obtain her trust, eventually his unholy intention was found by smart Markel.

Section 3:
Rihanna, a singer, actress and fashion designer ate Mark Twain, the famous author.
He said: “ What a sad story! I lost my credit card with all my money.”
She said: “Hey, babe, I fall in love with you.”
And that’s why all’s fair in love and war.

  • Paragraph 1: the Rihanna-Twain relationship (The word “ate” could be a metaphor. They are very familiar with each other, or have a close relationship).
  • Paragraph 2: When you are in love or waging war, you are allowed to be deceitful in order to get what you want. (Often said as an excuse for deception.)
  • Transition sentence: Although Twain don’t have money and can’t give Rihanna a rich life, she also wants to live with him. That’s true love.

Section 4:
Maria Sklodowska-Curie, a scientist kissed Benedict Cumberbatch , an English actor .
He said: ”It’s delicious.”
She said: ”I fall in love with you “
And that’s why an apple a day, keeps the doctor away.

  • Paragraph 1: the Curie-Cumberbatch relationship (They have very close relationship and seems sweet.).
  • Paragraph 2: Apples are so nutritious that if you eat an apple every day, you will not ever need to go to a doctor.
  • Transition sentence: In a word, they are each other’s apple.

Section 5:
Taylor Swift, the pop singer kicked Justin Bieber, the pop singer.
He said, ”Be my girlfriend right now.”
She said:” I just want to marry you, do not refuse me!”
That’s why a bad penny always turns up.

  • Paragraph 1: the Swift-Bieber relationship (She kicks him, or they have a severe disagreement with each other).
  • Paragraph 2: A person or thing, which is unpleasant, dishonorable, or unwanted, tends to appear (or reappear), especially at inopportune times.
  • Transition sentence: All in all, a boy just wants to play with you rather than be to blame for you is not a good person who can be trusted.
