Response to "How Much Does It Cost To Make A Hit Song"

After reading this essay, “Making a hit song is so expensive” was the first impression coming to my mind. Then I want to compare this essay with the text “Bringing Out The Flirt in You” by Christine Ng we have learned. In another word, I will find out the differences between the two essays.

1Purpose and Stance
Ng: ”How to do something”. Ng shows many methods to flirt with somebody in an appropriate way. She uses the words like ”First…Second…Finally…”, step by step, looks like a instruction. Her essay more focuses on “to do”, such as people’s behavior. This essay is much more subjective.
Zoe: ”How the thing happens”. Zoe just states the facts of “How much does it cost to make a hit song”. The purpose is to make people know or attract people’s attention. Zoe was like a bystander, so she can make the essay more objective. So this essay is more like a news rather than a blog.
2Audience
Ng: The person who wants to have a girlfriend or boyfriend or have a marriage.
Emotional needs.
Zoe: The person who is interested in music.
3Thinking
Ng: the statement of flirting many advice
Zoe: list many fees in many ways parallel fees(use specific examples)

Some words I want to say about “How much does it cost to make a hit song”:

We all know that Rihanna is a successful singer, she becomes more and more popular because of nice songs. It’s so hard to make a hit song. Firstly, the singer should have the ability to sing very well. Secondly, the brokerage firm must pay so much money to create a brilliant song which has beautiful lyrics and melody.
