Section 1:

Helen Keller, an American author killed Abraham Lincoln, the No.16 American president.

He said, “ winter comes, can spring be far behind?”

She said, “I want to travel.”

And that’s why a little knowledge is a dangerous thief.

• Paragraph 1: the Keller-Lincoln relationship (She kills him, maybe she hate him).
• Paragraph 2: A small amount of knowledge can mislead people into thinking that they are more expert than they really are.
• Transition sentence: Obviously the relationship between both of them is extremely conflict, because there is no absolutely no such thing as love or hatred without any reason or cause.

Section 2:

Angela D Markel, a prime Minister of Germany talked to Xi Jinping, general secretary the CPC Central committee

He said, “Can I have a cup of wine?”

She said, “You are so stupid.”

And that’s why barking dogs seldom bite.

• Paragraph 1: the Markel-Xi relationship (She speaks ill of him and their relationship is not close).
• Paragraph 2: People who make big threats never usually carry them out.
• Transition sentence: While Xi wants to get close to Markel and obtain her trust, eventually his unholy intention was found by smart Markel.

Section 3:

Rihanna, a singer, actress and fashion designer ate Mark Twain, the famous author.

He said: “ What a sad story! I lost my credit card with all my money.”

She said: “Hey, babe, I fall in love with you.”

And that’s why all’s fair in love and war.

• Paragraph 1: the Rihanna-Twain relationship (The word “ate” could be a metaphor. They are very familiar with each other, or have a close relationship).
• Paragraph 2: When you are in love or waging war, you are allowed to be deceitful in order to get what you want. (Often said as an excuse for deception.)
• Transition sentence: Although Twain don’t have money and can’t give Rihanna a rich life, she also wants to live with him. That’s true love.

Section 4:

Maria Sklodowska-Curie, a scientist kissed Benedict Cumberbatch , an English actor .

He said: ”It’s delicious.”

She said: ”I fall in love with you “

And that’s why an apple a day, keeps the doctor away.

• Paragraph 1: the Curie-Cumberbatch relationship (They have very close relationship and seems sweet.).
• Paragraph 2: Apples are so nutritious that if you eat an apple every day, you will not ever need to go to a doctor.
• Transition sentence: In a word, they are each other’s apple.

Section 5:

Taylor Swift, the pop singer kicked Justin Bieber, the pop singer.

He said, ”Be my girlfriend right now.”

She said:” I just want to marry you, do not refuse me!”

That’s why a bad penny always turns up.

• Paragraph 1: the Swift-Bieber relationship (She kicks him, or they have a severe disagreement with each other).
• Paragraph 2: A person or thing, which is unpleasant, dishonorable, or unwanted, tends to appear (or reappear), especially at inopportune times.
• Transition sentence: All in all, a boy just wants to play with you rather than be to blame for you is not a good person who can be trusted.

Trait: A strong sense of morality.

l   Positive: I have clear view of right and wrong. I like kindness and hate animus. I will offer help without any hesitation when I see someone has difficulties. Besides, if I have enough abilities but not help others because of some reasons, I will feel guilty for a long time.

l   Negative: A person who has a strong sense of morality any easily uses his/her own evaluation criterion to judge things, including me. In some specific cases, I think laws can’t punish bad guys completely and they haven’t received the punishment what they deserved to be given. I don’t know when I will make some radical moves that I can’t control.

Imagine a crime:

It was a serial killing with a strong purpose. I got information from BBS (Bulletin Board System) about something unfair or unfortunate experience people suffered. So I used my own way to punish bad guys to uphold justice that is in my view – I killed them.

 “I’m right! They damn!” a female serial criminal said when she was arrested in Wenzhou on December 3^rd. Mandy Lin, the cruel criminal who killed three people claiming that she is on behalf of justice. Unexpectedly, she is a young girl who looks extremely clam when facing public.

        
Mandy’s parents was shocked by the fact, they even have thought the police was cheating them. “My daughter is a kind girl, she neither can’t kill a rabbit, or a person.” Mandy’s mother said.

It is worth mentioning that Mandy is a freshman from Wenzhou Kean University. We got some information different from her mom’s words. “She likes watching psychological crime fictions and TVs. Maybe she wants to become a member in her favorite works.” Ada, her roommate in WKU said.Ada also told police Mandy often uses her own evaluation criterion to judge people. “ ’Why are these social scum come to the world? They have defiled the world.’ Mandy has spoken to me.

Process of the crime seemed mysterious. Police found Mandy has chatted with victims’ families or related people on BBS every time before she killed people. Then she left a word: ”He/she will be punished,” and disappeared for a long time. The first person she killed was an incompetent husband who often gambled, drunk, do violence to his wife and kid. One of the rest two was a habitual theft; another one was a robber.

Mandy committed crime is a way to satisfy herself. She got satisfactions from the crime process, she pretended as a paladin – punish evil to uphold justice. Once the crime started, she would not stop if she hasn’t be arrested. This is an extremely selfish act. If everyone acts recklessly because he/she thought they are right, the world will be in a mess. People’s behavior should be subject to law, no one has the opportunity to escape.

l   Positive: Obviously, owning a clear view of right and wrong is a good thing. Be willing to offering help and taking actions when seeing something unfair happens. Besides, it is good to protect justice of society and improve personal abilities.

l   Negative: A person who has a strong sense of morality may easily use his/her own evaluation criterion to judge things. When they saw something unfair happens, they may take extreme actions to punish others.

On December 3^rd, a serial criminal who killed three people was arrested in Wenzhou. Her name is Mandy Lin. Faced with an extremely evil criminal, a large amount of citizen in Wenzhou showed their sympathy towards her rather than anathematic. It sounds really strange. There must be something hiding it.

The first person she killed was an incompetent husband. He often gambled, drunk, do domestic violence to his wife and kid. His wife shared her tragic experience on BBS receiving much comfort from other people, including Mandy. She had an extremely clear view of right and wrong and hated all the unfair and unfortunate.

Mandy decided to help the wife to handle this unfortunate. After talking with the wife and knew about some specific information about her bad husband, Mandy made a precision plan to kill this people. The husband went to pubs with a very high frequency. The pub space was limited; the environment was crowded and disordered; the husband was drunk. Mandy got closed to him, pretended to talked with him and then, killed him with a knife; of course, she wore gloves to hide fingerprint.

“He is not my husband, not my baby’s father. He is a ‘vampire’. He damns!” The wife said hatred.

The rest dead people’s personal circumstances were similar with the bad husband. The one was a habitual theft; another one was a robber. Mandy was good at taking advantage of their personal characteristics to punish them. She hated some police’s low efficiency of arresting bad guys and some leaders’ corruption. Maybe the social atmosphere should be re-political. Making public disappointed again and again will be the worst thing we all never want to see.

She is an angel or devil? The punishment she gave was justice or injustice? Actually, many people said: ”Yes, of course she is right.” However, it comes out another question: where the power of law embodied in?

Informal Presentation - Hashtag #YesAllWomen

Today I want to talk about my hashtag #YesAllWomen.

Firstly, I want to state the causes.

l   “2014 Isla Vista Killings” : happening in California that left six people dead and thirteen others wounded. The killer was a young man named Elliot Rodger. The reason why he kills so many people was girls have never been attracted to him – misogyny ( is the hatred or dislike of women or girls).

l   After the news was announced, people found a video on YouTube about the killer. He said he knew the video will be his last, but he never regret. He wants to make all the women punished. The video brought about a big discussion online.

l   #NotAllMen (shortened hashtag version of not all men like that). In the wake of the killings, some Twitter users made the argument that "not all men" are like this, or would commit such crimes.

l   Followed by the hashtag #NotAllMen, #AllForWomen is a hashtag designed for women to tell their own stories & experience and protect their benefit.

Secondly, I want to explain my hashtag.

l   #YesAllWomen is a Twitter hashtag and social media campaign in which users (especially women) share examples or stories of misogyny and violence against women. The campaign attempted to raise awareness of sexism that women experience, often from people they know.

l   Effect: A. Attention: This hashtag made people pay attention to women’s benefit.

B. Call to action: Setting off anguished conversation about the treatment of women online and in reality.

C. Help women raise the awareness of self-protecting.

Thirdly, I would like to state my understanding of the cause and effect relationship.

l   The necessity is to draw attention towards the fact that all women have felt the effects of discrimination, sexism and/or verbal/physical in their lives.
